At the service of luxury brands

Technoliving stands for luxury: combining timeless classics and modern design with innovative added value. You can see it for yourself at the Technoliving Showroom, which brings premium products to life in the street front of an iconic black-glass office building in Budapest, at the bottom of the Hegyvidék district. Its experts say: a luxury brand is good when it makes dreams come true.

THE IQAIR STORY

IQAir is the Swiss air purifier manufacturer

IQAir was founded in 1963 by brothers Manfred and Klaus Hammes, who introduced an air filtration system for residential coal furnaces in Germany to help reduce the black dust accumulating on the walls behind the furnaces. Manfred Hammes, a lifelong asthmatic, noticed that the filter reduced flare-ups during the winter months. Klaus Hammes continued to adapt the air filter to other heating systems in the 1960s and 70s, such as radiators, underfloor heating and forced air heating and cooling systems. In the early 1990s, Frank Hammes, Klaus' eldest son, joined the company and expanded research and development and in-house production. IQAir delivered its first high performance air cleaner from the Swiss factory in the spring of 1998. In 2001, Klaus Hammes' second son, Jens Hammes, joined the company and helped to expand IQAir's operations in Asia and the Middle East.

Our mission

Every year 7 million people die from air pollution and billions suffer unnecessarily from the consequences of poor air quality. Yet many of us lack access to timely information on air quality and often air pollution goes unnoticed. IQAir is working to change this. Today, we operate the world's largest free, real-time, free air quality information platform and are engaging more and more global citizens, organisations and governments.

Clean Air

IQAir is an air quality technology company based in Switzerland, specialising in airborne pollutant control, air quality monitoring and air purification products. IQAir also operates AirVisual, a real-time air quality information platform. In February 2020, IQAir had around 500 employees worldwide, 150 of them in China, with its main markets in Asia and North America.
