Filtration technology
Microparticle filtration
through a high-efficiency HEPA pre-filter to capture allergens from pollen, pets, dust mites and mould. HEPA class H11 filter with high capacity mini pleated design with solvent-free separators and 3.0 nm surface area. GC AM pre-filter is CFC-free.
Odour and gas removal The IQAir GC AM has four gas and odour control filter cartridges. A wide range of gases and chemicals are simultaneously filtered. The GC AM's air purification filtration technology effectively reduces, for example, ammonia and many low molecular weight amines. The large surface area of the gas and odour filter cartridges allows for high airflow and combined with the leak-proof design, the GC AM is the most efficient air purifier for odour, chemical and gas removal.
Fine dust removal A
GC AM's final stage consists of four post-filter sleeves. These are electrostatically charged fibre filters that capture fine dust particles over a surface area of half a square metre. This eliminates activated carbon and chemisorption wear-resistant particles. Each cassette in the IQAir GC Series operates uniformly to meet almost any moderate vapor phase removal requirement in residential or commercial environments.
